Dorrance Dance forms a tribute with 'The Blues Project'

The gestures of one dancer performing in Rockville may be minuscule when compared with a president singing "We Shall Overcome" on Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Ala., but Michelle Dorrance made a crowd tear up Saturday by bowing, clasping her hands together and slowly tracing her right foot across the floor in a wide, smooth arc of tribute.
